Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of pompelmi.app (the "Site") and the Pompelmi Cloud waitlist. By accessing the Site or submitting your email to the waitlist, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

The Site is operated by Tommaso Bertocchi (Italy, pompelmideveloper@yahoo.com).

1. Website

The Site is provided for informational purposes only. All content — documentation, blog articles, code examples, and marketing copy — is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation warranties of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Tommaso Bertocchi reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice.

2. pompelmi Open-Source Software

The pompelmi npm package and all associated source code are provided under the ISC License (functionally equivalent to the MIT License). The full license text is available in the repository: github.com/pompelmi/pompelmi/blob/main/LICENSE.

The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. The author is not liable for any damages arising from its use, including but not limited to failure to detect malware, data loss, or security incidents.

Use of the pompelmi software is subject exclusively to the terms of the ISC License. These Terms of Service do not restrict or expand your rights under that license.

3. Pompelmi Cloud Waitlist

By submitting your email address to the Pompelmi Cloud waitlist you:

  • consent to receiving a single notification email when Pompelmi Cloud early access opens;
  • acknowledge that joining the waitlist does not constitute a purchase, subscription, reservation, or any other binding commercial commitment;
  • acknowledge that no payment is taken and no service is guaranteed to be delivered.

You may request removal from the waitlist at any time by emailing pompelmideveloper@yahoo.com.

4. Right to Modify or Cancel the Cloud Service

Tommaso Bertocchi reserves the right, at sole discretion and without prior notice, to:

  • modify the features, pricing, or scope of Pompelmi Cloud before or after launch;
  • delay the launch of Pompelmi Cloud indefinitely; or
  • cancel Pompelmi Cloud entirely before it launches.

In no event shall any person on the waitlist be entitled to compensation, refund, or damages as a result of any such modification or cancellation, as joining the waitlist creates no contractual obligation.

5. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Italy.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you may also benefit from mandatory protective provisions of the law of your country of residence.
